First, a little Geography background…
The word geography means "to
write about the earth." Learning about geography
is much more than memorizing the names of capitals,
countries, and states. Geography is a subject to help
you understand the world, its physical features and
its people. This is because geographers look at the
place and the location of things in the world. Geographers
study where things are and how they got there. Geography
looks at the connection between people, places, and
the earth.
