| UC Links at Riverside
In the Riverside area there are
two UC Links sites during the 2004-2005 academic year.
Approximately 250 children and 60 undergraduates work together
on a variety of after-school learning activities during
this period. UC Links principal investigator at UC Riverside
is Sharon Duffy (Education). The UC Links sites are:
Eastside
Cybrary Connection and
the Nicholls Park Cybrary— Located in Riverside. A
collaboration of the Riverside Public Library, the Graduate
School of Education and the Department of Psychology, UC
Riverside.
Eastside Cybrary Connection:
These sites provide children and youth with public library resources in their neighborhoods. In addition, participants also collaborate with UC Riverside undergraduates in the exploration of educational software, homework and other literacy and research activities. |
