Digital Storytelling Introduction

	Everybody has a story to tell.
Using computers, UC Links participants in after-school programs and undergraduate courses have been making digital stories to reflect on issues and experiences that are important to them. Storytellers record their own voices, choose images and background music, and use digital editing software to combine these elements into a short movie.
This website showcases digital stories created by K-12 students and university undergraduates. One group of stories was created by middle school students in the Expedition after-school program in Oakland. Another group of stories was created by UC Berkeley students in a course exploring literacy development.
